Notifications

Choose what your organization gets told about, and where.

Notification rules decide which events reach which channel. An event with no rule reaches nobody — silence is the default, not an error.

How to

  1. 1

Add a rule for each event type you care about.

  2. 2

    Point it at a channel.

  3. 3

Set your own personal preferences under Your Profile → My Notifications.

  4. 4

In the Smoo AI phone app, tap the bell at the top of any screen. Filter by kind, swipe a notification to mark it read or dismiss it, and long-press one to turn off notifications like it.

  5. 5

Tap the gear in the app’s notification center to choose which kinds reach you by push, in the app or by email, and to set quiet hours. Calls still ring during quiet hours unless you turn off “Calls always ring”.

If something goes wrong

Alerts are not arriving.
Check a rule exists for that event type at all. A configured monitor with no notification rule fires into nothing.
My phone stopped showing a kind of notification.
Open the bell, tap the gear, and check that kind is switched on and quiet hours are not active. If the app says push notifications are off, turn them on in your phone’s settings.
